Case Study – Zimasco SRP Plant (Project Value USD 1.8m)
The scope included process design, civils design, structural design, mechanical design, detailed drawings and over inspection of construction, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
Case Study – Agglomeration Drum for BioMetallurgical Pvt Ltd
The scope included reverse engineering, manufacturing drawings and bill of quantities for a 100tph agglomeration supplied to Mopani Copper Mines in Zambia

Case Study – Head frame and hoist supply for Chegutu Gold Mine
The scope included topographical survey, site plan, design and manufacture of the headframe, skip and cocopans, hoist refurbishment and over inspection of the installation.
Case Study – 45m3/hr Raw Water Pipeline for Zimasco
Scope included topographical survey, redesign of pipeline, redesign of water storage ponds and associated civil works. A threefold increase in flow rate was achieved.
Mineral Process Plant
Over the years, DMO has gained valuable experience in process design, equipment selection, sizing, detailing, manufacture, installation and commissioning in the gold and ferrochrome industries. Common processes are summarized in table below:

DMO have experience with both “Rolls Royce” and lower cost components and have learnt to combine these maximise reliability while minimizing project cost.
Case Study – CIS plant for Buckreef Gold Mine
The scope included design, manufacture and installation of carbon in solution plant for a 1000tpd heap leach operation. The plant included cyanide mixing, solution handling, adsorption columns, elution plant and carbon regeneration plant.
Case Study – Hydraulic Mining Circuit for Connehouse Mine
The scope included design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of a hydraulic circuit for plant feed to the CIP plant. Scope extended from process water tank all the way to slurry transfer pumping station.
Labour Contracting
DMO offers highly skilled and specialized labour both at our work shops and at customer sites to execute mission critical tasks including:

Case Study: Jena Mine
Emergency repairs were carried out on the elution plant following a breakdown. This was followed up with an inspection and a detailed report was submitted highlighting deviations, corrective measures and best practice
